                                UDBHAVANA Talk Show conducted on “Ethical Hacking

             and Cybersecurity”

The Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar organized another UDBHAVANA Talk Show-cum-Webinar on the topic, “Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity”. The Founder & CEO of Craw Security and renowned Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking expert Mr. Mohit Yadav was the keynote speaker of the programme. Mr Pratap Malik, Director Placement presided over the function. Students Nitya Chugh and Shubhra Sharma hosted the Talk Show and asked about the common misconceptions and the real meaning of Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity from today’s keynote speaker.

Mr Mohit Yadav talked extensively about the importance of Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking in today’s digital world. He spoke broadly about two topics- ‘How to be safer online' and ‘How to build a career in Cybersecurity/Ethical Hacking’. He drew comparisons between physical crimes and virtual crimes and talked about their differences and similarities. He also spent a good amount of time giving the students everyday tips on how to have a more secure online experience and avoid hacking at all costs. One of the many things he talked about was a website called haveibeenpwned.com where one can share his/her email address or mobile number and find out if any website has ever leaked their data to someone. Then he talked about the importance of buying Antivirus Software. He said, “When we pay for an Antivirus Software subscription, we exponentially decrease our chances to be hacked.”  

With great ease, he answered every single query and doubt of the students by giving practical advice and real-life examples. Mr. Mohit Yadav gave a well-structured career plan to help students navigate their way in the world of Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity. He also shared his company’s YouTube Channel (Craw Security) where students can find free material to learn more about the basics of Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking.

          It was indeed a very interactive and engaging session with over a hundred students joining in for the talk show. Concluding the session, Dr. Aditya Vir Singh Assistant Director of Training and Placement Cell proposed the vote of thanks to Mr. Mohit Yadav for spending his valuable time and sharing his wisdom with the students.
