Four Weeks Online Industrial Training on AI, Web Development and IOT Data Analytics concluded

          Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar organized valedictory function of Four Weeks Online Industrial Training-cum-Internship programme. This training programme was organized in sponsorship of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Innovation & Incubation Centre of the University and training partner was Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad (ESCI). Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar of the University was chief guest of the valedictory function. Prof. Dharminder Kumar, Director, PDUIIC was the special guest of the event. Partap Singh, Director Placement presided over the function. 121 students of B.Tech. CSE, IT, ECE & EE 2nd & 3rd year successfully completed this training conducted on three important technologies i.e. AI using Python, IoT Data Analytics and Web Development using Mean Stack.

          While addressing the students, Chief Guest Prof. Avnesh Verma said that practical trainings are integral and essential part of engineering programmes. Therefore, students should keep on striving to learn trending technologies for upskilling themselves. He congratulated the Cell for providing this training opportunity to students in this pandemic time.

          In his address as special guest, Prof. Dharminder Kumar appealed to all the students to do more work on their projects.  He assured maximum cooperation and support from Innovation & Incubation Centre to convert these projects into mini start-ups.

          Partap Singh, Director Placement congratulated all the students for working on very innovative ideas related to covid pandemic and developing very good projects. He said that this training would certainly enhance the employability of these students. Director Placement thanked chairpersons of CSE, ECE & EE departments, team of PDUIIC and all faculty members of ESCI and all student volunteers for this training program. Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director presented a welcome address.

          Mr. Syed Asgar, Director, Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad along with his team of trainers presented all the 24 projects of multiple areas which the students have developed in this training programme. 

          In "IOT Data Analytics" category, the project developed by team led by Akshat on "Visualizing covid 19 probability based upon climate conditions using real time data mining" was declared as first whereas project "Creation of dynamic web applications and hosting in real time server and monitoring Covid-19 patients on maps" developed by team led by Vaibhav and project "IOT based Covid-19 patient health monitoring system" developed by team headed by Shagun were jointly declared second.

          Similarly in "Web Development using Mean Stack" Category, the project Kisanology developed by team led by Abhimanyu for providing single online platform to farmers for purchasing agricultural equipments, seeds, fertilizers along with agricultural consultancy, was declared the best. The project Medicare developed by a team led by Nitin Kumar for giving information about the available doctors and medical facilities in hospitals of that area based on requirement of patients, was declared as second.

          In "AI using Python" category, project "Credit Card Customer Clustering"  developed by team led by Jyoti was declared the First, whereas the project "Job Classification" developed by team led by Akash Kumar was declared the Second.
          A test was also conducted at the end of training, based on which students Shagun, Anjali Rohilla and Jaideep have been declared toppers in their respective batches. The stage was anchored by Pranjal. The team of coordinators including Sugandha, Jaideep, Lalit, Arvind, Parksash and Daksh in leadership of overall Coordinator Ashish Sheoran worked hard to make this programme successful.
