Six Students of GJUST placed in Accenture Gurgaon

          Six students of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (GJUST) have been selected in a reputed software company Accenture. Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar of the University congratulated the students and wished for their bright future.

          Pratap Singh, Director Placement informed that Accenture Plc is an Irish-based multinational professional services company that specializes in IT services and  consulting.  A Fortune Global 500 company, it reported revenues of $44.33 billion in 2020 and had 569000 employees. In 2015, the company had about 150000 employees in India, 48000 in the US, and 50000 in the Philippines. Accenture's current clients include 91 of the Fortune Global 100 and more than three-quarters of the Fortune Global 500.

          Director Placements also said that this is the first time that Accenture has conducted the Placement drive for GJUST students. Accenture has conducted an online placement drive from 7th Sep to 12th Sep 2021. Students of B.Tech., M.Tech., CSE, IT, ECE, EE, ME and MCA having a minimum of 60 per cent in 10th, 12th, Graduation and Post Graduation were eligible for applying for this Online Placement Drive. Around 130 students of GJUST participated in this drive. After going through multiple phases like the Coding test, Cognitive Ability, English language Test, and then final Interview, six students of GJUST were finally declared as selected.

          He expressed gratitude to Ms. Damini Prajapati and Mr. Prakhar Tripathi Associates from Accenture for conducting the whole drive. He also thanked Prof. Dharmender Kumar, Chairman of the CSE Department and the Training and Placement Coordinators for preparing and motivating the students for participating in the selection process.

          Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director of Training and Placement Cell said that the selected students are Amit Kumar, Mohit Mittal, Swapnil Yadav, Vikram Gupta from CSE 2022 & Yogesh Garg from MCA 2022 passing out Batch selected for Associate System Engineer with CTC of Rs. 4.5 LPA and Rashmi Garg from CSE 2022 passing out selected for Advanced Associate System Engineer with CTC of Rs. 6.5 LPA.

                                          Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar March 25, 2021             Nine students of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar have qualified the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2021 Exam., whose result has been  declared recently.
