E-Campus Placement drive of IBM

First Placement of 2022 batch started with the selection of two Students in IBM India

          Two students of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (GJUST) have been selected in a reputed software company IBM India in E-Campus placed drive conducted by Training & Placement Cell of the University. Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar of the University congratulated the students and wished for their bright future.

          Mr. Pratap Singh, Director Placement informed that International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) a 110-year-old American multinational technology company headquartered in Armonk, New York, with operations in over 170 countries.  IBM India Private Limited is the Indian subsidiary of IBM founded in 1992 in  Bengaluru currently its headquarter and has its offices in over 200 cities including Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon, Noida, Bhubaneshwar, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. IBM India provides solutions and services to all major industries including financial services, healthcare, Government, automotive, telecommunications and education. 

          Director Placement also said that this is the first time that IBM has conducted the Placement drive for GJUST students. IBM has conducted online placement drive from 1st Sep to 3rd Sep 2021.  Students of B.Tech./M.Tech./CSE, IT, ECE, EE & MCA having minimum 60 per cent in 10th, 12th, Graduation & Post Graduation were eligible for applying for this Online Placement Drive. Around 130 students of the University participated in this drive.

          After going through multiple phases like Coding test, Cognitive Ability, English language Test and then final Interview, two students of the University were finally declared as selected.

          He expressed gratitude to officials of IBM India Talent Acquisition team Subajit Chaudhary & Avni Puri for conducting the placement drive. He also thanked Prof. Dharmender, Chairman of the CSE Department, Training and Placement Coordinators of Department for preparing and motivating the students for participating in the selection process and Student Drive Coordinstor Shardhha for coordinating the drive.

          Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director of Training and Placement Cell said that the selected students are Lokesh Chauhan and Anjali Yadav from CSE 2022 passing out Batch. The selected students will join the company on the post of Associate System Engineer on the initial package of 4.25 lakhs per annum in July 2022.

GATE-2021 Qualified Students

                                          Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar March 25, 2021             Nine students of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar have qualified the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2021 Exam., whose result has been  declared recently.
