    Preparatory Webinar on SSB conducted by SSB Club of GJUS&T

              The SSB Club constituted in mentorship of the Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar organized its second webinar to make the students well versed about Service Selection Board (SSB) Process.  Partap Singh Malik, Director Placement told that two senior students Mahak Bhardwaj and Tushar Singh Narwal, who were recommended in SSB in year 2021 & 2016 respectively, interacted with the students about their experiences of complete 5-Days SSB Process. Over 60 SSB Aspirant University Students attended the Webinar. Director Placement told that SSB Club is an initiative of Training & Placement Cell to provide a preparatory platform to all students, who dream of joining Armed Forces.

            The speakers delivered a detailed talk on PP & DT Test (Picture Perception and Discussion Test), OIR Test (Officers Intelligence Rating) and PIQ (Personal Information Questionnaire).  Ms. Mahak Bhardwaj told that the 5-day SSB procedure includes psychological tests, interviews and GTO and counselled the students to focus on developing a positive outlook, to analyse their weaknesses, to focus on giving best and to take rejection as a form of the learning experience. She expressed the importance of building a team spirit and also shed some light on how important 'good self-introspection is. Mr. Tushar Narwal briefed the students about some common mistakes they might make in the future. He told the students to be observant and develop reasoning aptitude. He further stated that one should try to 'Express' and not to 'Impress' and one should always try to look for the solution.  Both the speakers answered all the queries and the doubts of the students by giving practical advice and real-life examples. 

            Samarjeet, Vaishali & Sanju, SSB Club coordinators coordinated the event successfully. Pratibha anchored the event. Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director told that the SSB Club would conduct such webinars on a weekly basis.
