SSB CLUB (Interaction with group caption Rajesh Sharma about SSB)

 The SSB club in mentorship of Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (Hisar) conducted its sixth event in form of webinar on "SSB Preparation". Group Captain Rajesh Sharma currently serving as Commanding Officer of 3 Punjab AIR SQN NCC in Patiala was the keynote speaker. Founder NCC Coordinator and Currently Coordinator of Swacch Bharat Swath Bharat Dr. Rajeev Kumar was the chief guest of the webinar. Director(Placement) Partap Singh presided over the function. Approximately 50 SSB aspirant club member students of GJUS&T attended the webinar.

In his welcome address, Director(Placement) Partap Singh Malik told that SSB club is organizing webinars and preparation of various types of tests conducted in SSB Assessment Process. Addressing the students, Chief Guest Dr. Rajeev Kumar said that SSB Club initiated by T&P Cell is an effective platform for SSB aspiring students for their consistent preparation of SSB through various webinars and other activities organized by SSB club.

Keynote speaker Captain Rajesh Sharma shared his SSB experience and guided the students about various dimensions of SSB Process. He suggested students to get engaged in some outdoor activities to remain physically fit. For better preparation of Word Association Tests of SSB, He suggested the students to make Action oriented sentences. He also advised students to develop habit of creating positive sentences from words written on various posters or billboards coming across in their daily routine. Regarding preparation of Picture Perception Description tests, He suggested students to identify the central person or concept from the picture shown and weave the positive story around that. He also told students to have courage to get inputs about their personality traits from family members, friends  and relatives.  He highlighted that students should respond to the questions truthfully in Personal interview.

SSB Club Mentor Dr. Sanjay Kumar of Applied Psychology Department expressed Vote of Thanks. Anchoring was done by Club Co-Coordinator Sanju. Club Coordinator Samarjeet Singh & his team members Vaishali, Arvind, Lalita, Rashmi, Sneha coordinated the event successfully.  SSB Club Co-Mentor Sh. Krishan Kumar, Chief Officer Shahid  & OPC Tushar Narwal were also present.
