SSB CLUB Workshop on Personality Development Techniques for SSB

 The SSB club in mentorship of the Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (Hisar) conducted its eleventh event. Professional psychologist, advanced personality development trainer, motivational speaker & HR Capacity Developer Mr. Alok Pratap Singh of Captain Batra Brigade, Hisar was the keynote speaker. More than 1200 officers and soldiers have been successfully inducted into forces till date under his guidance. Sh. Partap Singh Malik, Director(Placement), GJUS&T (Hisar) presided over the function. Approx 60 SSB aspirant students of various departments attended the workshop, out of which 14 students are going to give SSB in near future. Vice Chancellor Prof. B.R.Kamboj and Registrar Prof. Avnesh Verma congratulated the SSB club running under mentorship of T&P Cell for organizing such programs for the students.

Club Coordinator Samarjeet Singh introduced the objectives and activities of the club. In his welcome Speech, Director(Placement) Pratap Singh shared that SSB club has organized ten events of various types in Online mode till now and after a long gap, now physical event has started. He also appealed to all students to avail the opportunities provided by the university for better SSB preparation to serve the nation.

The Keynote speaker Mr. Alok Pratap Singh guided students about the importance of clear and confident communication for SSB interview. Out of more than 70 communication enhancement techniques and fun-games devised by himself, Mr. Alok Pratap Singh involved the students in a fun-task known as Folk to English Translation Task. Another task undertaken was the Reporting Task, in which one person acted as reporter and asked questions from the audience and audience responded to him in English. Next one was the Judgement Task ,which was also one of the tasks to boost up confidence level while speaking English. He further  shared that Speaking to Customer Care is also an effective practical method for boosting the confidence level. All SSB aspirants attended the session with full involvement and fun.

The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Aditya Veer Singh, Assistant Director of T&P Cell. He congratulated all the SSB club Team members Samarjeet, Vaishali, Tanmay, Rashmi & Aditya Mishra for successfully organizing this physical event.

 

The event ended with the national anthem. Club Co-Coordinator Vaishali  anchored the event.
