Online Projectathon Competition organized by Coding Club of T&P Cell, GJUS&T, Hisar

Inter-University Hackathon organized in GJUS&T

September 22, 2022            

          The Coding Club GJUST-CODERs under the mentorship of the Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar in collaboration with Repozitory Technology Private Limited conducted Inter-university Hackathon namely Hackuniv in Ch. Ranbir Singh Auditorium. Mr. Nitin Goel, CEO of Repozitory Technology, Mr. Manubhav Batra, Project Manager, Repozitory and Prof. Sandeep Arya of the ECE department were jury members. Partap Singh, Director Placement presided over the function. In starting there were 28 teams from institutions like  GJUST, OSGU, MDU, JMIT, CDLU and TIT&S registered for this hackathon, out of which nine teams including seven teams of GJUST, one team of TIT Bhiwani and one team of MDU rohtak were shortlisted for the final round of project presentation.

          While addressing to the students, Mr. Nitin Goyal mentioned that a hackathon is a great way to identify budding talent in the minds of the young blood and help them work on their career paths. He also unveiled Projects under hackUniv that students can apply according to their interests and specifications at hackUniv.com.

          Pratap Singh, Director Placement thanked Project Manager Manubhav Batra and Anjali Garg, HR Manager from Repozitory Tech., who are also GJUST Alumni for organizing this event from the company side. After prize distribution to all the winners, participation certificates were also provided to encourage all the participants and a group photo of all team members of the Coders’ Club was also there.

          Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director told that Project Neophytes comprising of students Nishant Kumar Singh, Ankit Singh and Dhruv Panchal has won the first prize in hackUniv-2022. Project Harbus comprising of students Kamal, Ajay Kumar, and Divya got second prize and Project Electric and comfortable chair Car comprising of students Ashish, Manisha and Anu won third prize.

          Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director expressed a vote of thanks. The Coding Club volunteer students led by Joint coordinator Vaibhav coordinated the event effectively. Sonam and Mohit anchored the event.
