Webinar on "Career Opportunities for MBA students" for HSB students

The Industry Interaction Club of Training and Placement Cell, GJUS&T, Hisar organised a webinar on the topic "Top Careers in MBA" for students of Haryana School of Business. Approx 50 students attended the webinar. Certified Master having trained more than 5000 trainers across the country and currently Skill Assistant Professor at SVSU Dr Yogesh Verma was the keynote speaker. Dr. Anjali Gupta of HSB presented a welcome speech. Vice Chancellor Prof. B. R. Kamboj congratulated for organizing such types of programs, through which students can be more job-ready and employable. Registrar Prof. Avnesh Verma also congratulated the students for participating in such events.

Dr. Yogesh Verma discussed various career opportunities which MBA students can opt after completion of their Post graduation. Giving various examples, He underlined that non-employability is a more prominent problem as compared to unemployment. Corporate has many vacant positions but they are not able to find the right match due to problem of non-empolyability. Therefore students need to work on these skills to make them employable. He advised students to take part in various activities organised by the University to attain managerial skills. He also advised students to furnish their communication skills and do useful certification courses. He also shared some useful job hunting & training websites for better employability of students. He advised students to be punctual in their life and not take things casually. He also gave highlights about entrepreneurship.

Director (Placement) Partap Singh shared that cell has been continuously working at bridging the gap between corporate word and academia through such interaction programs. Coordinators Muskan, Abhishek & Club Coordinator Monika Sihag coordinated the event well.
