Industrial Visit Of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Department, Hisar

          The Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar organized an Industrial visit to Jindal Industries Private Limited, Hisar for final year students of Department of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. The industrial visit was organized in two batches, one for each department. Around 120 students visited the company along with their Teacher Placement Coordinators and other faculty members. The first batch was of Mechanical Engineering students escorted by Mr. Jagdip Chauhan and Mr. Sudhir and the second batch was of Electrical Engineering students escorted by Dr. Sumit Saroha, Mr. Krishan Kumar, Mr. Kalyan Singh and Mrs. Nisha Sharma.

          Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor of the University congratulated the students and told the students about the importance of this type of Industrial visit. Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar of the University also congratulated the students. 

          Deepak Yadav, Senior Manager, Quality Department, Jindal Industries Private Limited addressed the students during the industrial visit.  A video was also shown to the students briefly describing how Jindal Industries was originally established in Kolkata by Mr. O.P. Jindal and then he relocated to his native place Hisar. Presenting through a Power Point presentation, he briefly explained the company profile and operation flow chart. He also mentioned different quality checks through which the product sails. After the completion of the PPT, students asked their queries regarding the production process, environmental aspects and various ways of recruitment in the company.

          Pratap Singh Malik, Director of the Training and Placement Cell addressed the students before the visit and asked them to utilize this opportunity to the fullest and learn more about their fieldwork.

          Partap Singh Malik, Director Placement expressed thanks to Deepak Yadav, Senior Manager of the Quality Department and Mr. Parmod Bansal, Deputy General Manager HR from Jindal Industries, Hisar for arranging this Industrial visit.
