Two Days Induction Program "Know your T&P Cell" for First Year students.

 T&P Induction Sessions conducted for First Year students of all courses

Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, for the first time, organized one hour department-wise Induction Sessions for first year students in Seminar Hall of Teaching Block-7 to give them an overview of various Training and Placement  activities and Programs being run by various Clubs of T&P cell. Around 1300 students from all departments attended the sessions spread across two days. Teacher Placement Coordinators of concerned departments were also present in the program. Vice Chancellor congratulated the cell for taking this initiative tio apprise newly admitted students about various T&P facilities, which they can avail for their better career development. Registrar Prof. Avnesh Verma shared that early beginning of the career development process from the first year itself would surely help these students by the time they reach their last year.

Overall Placement Coordinators Lalita kanwar, Daksh Trikha & Simran Saini and respective Departmental Placement Coordinator Senior Students presented about various clubs and activities being run by T&P Cell. They informed the newcomers about employability enhancement clubs like Aptitude Club, Speakathon Clubb, Coding Club, Industry Interaction Club & UDBHAVANA Club working under T&P Cell and their respective programs. First year students were also made aware about Career Option related clubs like SSB Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Competitive Exams Club and International Studies Club and their functioning.

While addressing students, Director(Placement) Partap Singh said that first year students need to start working on their resume and LinkedIn profile from the first year itself and start participating actively in various career development related activities conducted by various clubs of the cell according to their interests.  He also appealed to students to maintain discipline in their lives and work hard to improve the employability skills. Assistant Director Dr Aditya Vir Singh apprised the students about the complete placement process and motivated the students to regularly visit the cell and its notices for their better career prospects.

Teacher Training & Placement coordinators of respective departments also addressed the students and motivated them to keep the name of university high through their stay in university and ensured support of any type for their better career.
