SSB PP&DT Practice Session (Ex NK Ramphal Singh) organized by SSB Club

               Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar

          SSB Club under the mentorship of Training and Placement Cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar conducted a Picture Perception & Description Test practice session, which is a part of the stage-1 SSB procedure. Around 28 students including NDA written-cleared students, NCC cadets, and other defense aspirants from the University participated in the practice test. Retd. Nayak Ramphal Singh, Army Medical Corps (AMC) was the instructor of the event.

          Retd. Nayak Ramphal Singh told the students to observe the picture shown on the screen carefully by observing the background, the number of characters, their age, mood, and gender, and then make a practical story with a suitable theme related to the picture. He told the candidates that the picture may be positive, negative or neutral but the ending of the story should be positive. For group discussion, he told the students to practice narration regularly and narrate the story precisely and crisply with confidence. He also told students not to show too many hand movements and sit comfortably during group discussion and put their points clearly and confidently during discussion and focus on important points like theme, action and positive ending of the story.

          Pratap Singh Malik, Director, Training & Placement Cell addressed the students and praised them for their active participation in events organized by SSB Club and gave his best wishes to all the students, who will be appearing in their SSBs soon. Students practiced group discussion in three groups with one for girls and two for boys and expressed their curiosity about future events as well.

          Lalit Kumar, Coordinator of SSB Club presented the vote of thanks. The event was anchored by Riya and managed by Joint Coordinators Rahul and Rashmi and core team members including Deepak, Kapil, Rahul, Sanjana, Mahak, Anu, Tarun, Hritik, Pooja and Shruti helped in making the event successful.
