E- Club: Jagriti (case study competition)

The Entrepreneurship Club under the Training & Placement Cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar organized a "Successful Start-up Case Study Competition" namely Jagriti. Prof. Vishal Gulati, Director, PDUIIC and Prof. Suresh Mittal, Deputy Director were judges of the event. Partap Singh, Director Placement presided over the function. Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor of the University congratulated the Entrepreneurship Club for organizing this programme to create awareness about entrepreneurship and startups. Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar of the University also congratulated the cell for this event.
While addressing the participants, Prof. Vishal Gulati, Director PDUIIC appealed to the students to convert their innovative ideas into small start-ups and be the job-providers instead of job-seekers.
Prof. Suresh Mittal also congratulated the students for participating in this event.
Partap Singh, Director Placement shared that this programme has been organized for creating awareness about the process followed by entrepreneurs to be successful entrepreneurs & make their start-ups successful. The students presented Case studies about successful startups like Lenskart, Zerodha, Mamaearth, Cars24, Boat, Polygon (Matic) & many more. The participants discussed the start-up models and also about the challenges faced by them and their journey of success.
Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director shared that Bhavna, Vaibhav & Rahul got first, second & third positions respectively on the basis of evaluation done on parameters like communication, presentation and content delivered. Rahul, Entrepreneurship Club Coordinator and Roshni, Joint Coordinator coordinated the whole event with core team members Rashi, Monika, Ravi, Dhruv, Sunny, Rahul, Anuj, Bharat and Vidushi. Vidushi anchored the event.
