The Speakathon club under the mentorship of the Training and Placement Cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology Hisar organised an Online Story Telling competition named as ‘Prasang’. Prof. Sujata Sanghi, Chief Warden Girls was the chief guest of the event. Shubham Dwivedi and Anupriya Dhiman, GJUST Alumni graced the event as judges. Pratap Singh, Director Placement and Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director were also present in the event. The event was dedicated to all those personalities who contributed significantly in making today's India in the last 76 years. 25 students participated in this competition. Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice Chancellor of the University congratulated the entire Club for organizing such functions for sharpening of communication skills of students.
The participants narrated motivational stories of heroes like Neeraj Chopra, Ajit Dowal, Anand Kumar, founder of super 30, Ratan Tata ji and many more. The students underlined the dedication and hardwork, these personalities put to achieve success for themselves as well as the nation.
Mr. Shubham Dwivedi, as judge, highlighted the importance of communication skill in our life and how much it affects us. Anupriya Dhiman, judge addressed the gathering and shared her experience of the commandership in the Republic Day Parade 2018. Bhawna Mittal from MBA got 1st position, Lalit Kumar from B.Tech. ECE got 2nd prize while Anshul from Economics Department got 3rd prize.
Simran Saini, Joint Placement Coordinator presented the vote of thanks. Riya anchored the event. Barkha, Programme Coordinator managed the whole event brilliantly along with the whole Speakathon Club team including Parkash Jha, Laxmi, Lalit, Sujal, Deepak and Deepanshu, Club Coordinators.
