Eleventh Volume of T&P Cell Quarterly Newsletter Released

          The 11th volume of the Quarterly Newsletter of Training and Placement Cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar namely TPC-CHRONICLE was released by Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor of the University in the main hall of Ch. Ranbir Singh Auditorium.  Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar & Prof. Devinder Kumar, Dean Academic Affairs were also present on the occasion. All the dignitaries congratulated the members of the editorial board of the newsletter for regularly publishing this newsletter from the last two & half years.

          Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor said that the newsletter is an effective medium of getting connected with our present as well as potential recruiters, through which they become aware about the activities of University.  These types of efforts also prove helpful in enhancing the creative skills of the students.

          Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar said that various career development activities are conducted by Training & Placement Cell of the University through its multiple clubs like Speakathon Club, Aptitude Club, SSB Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Industry Interaction Club and Udbhavana Club and newsletter is best platform to record and host all such programmes.

          Prof. Devinder Kumar, Dean Academic Affairs also underlined the importance of public outreach being taken care of by this quarterly newsletter of the Cell.

          Partap Singh, Director, Training & Placement Cell said that the quarterly newsletter is published to compile all the placement achievements along with activities, training programmes and initiatives taken by Training & Placement Cell for making the students employable and industry ready in that quarter.  He shared that alumni messages are also included in this newsletter.  In this quarter 120 students got placed in 28 companies.  He further informed that softcopy of this newsletter is sent to more than 500 industry people in addition to all faculty members and students.

          Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director said that the newsletter is designed and prepared by a student editorial team consisting of  Dhruv, Yashi, Rakesh, Ayush, Nidhi, Chaitanya, Jai Kumar & Tanuj Kumar led by Team Coordinator Neha Khanna of B.Tech. ECE with the support of OPCs Simran and Yogender.

                                          Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar March 25, 2021             Nine students of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar have qualified the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2021 Exam., whose result has been  declared recently.
