GJUST Coders Club organized Azure Open Source Day

          The GJUST Coders Club of Training and Placement Cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar organized Azure Open Source Day in association with Reskill and Microsoft at Seminar Hall-1 of CRS Auditorium of the University for all the students of the University. Sarthak Jain, Head of Community of Reskill & and Siddharth Chopra, Software Engneer at optum of Reskill were the keynote speakers of the programme. This event was supported by Microsoft Azure and Azure Developers Community and it was being run in India for the first time and only 20 colleges all over India were chosen to host it.

          Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor congratulated the coding club for holding this workshop for technical upskilling of the students. Prof. Avnesh Verma, Registrar appealed to all students to make full use of all such programmes and also congratulated the students for participating in the workshop.

          Siddharth Chopra, Keynote Speaker had an interactive talk about various emerging trends in AI and possible future opportunities in AI technologies. Students also got to know about various trending AI tools and ways to access them and take benefit. He underlined that AI can help in reducing efforts and increasing productivity.

          Sarthak Jain, Speaker had a discussion about other important aspects of student life like Hackathon, which would help them in achieving their future jobs. 
          The event started with a formal welcome address by Partap Singh, Director Placement. Club members Sonam and Mohit anchored the event. The event was successfully organized by the efforts of Jyoti, Club Coordinator, Vaibhav, Co-Coordinator and other Club Members with the involvement of nearly 200 participants.
