 Industrial visit to Busch Vacuum Solution, Gurugram conducted for EE & ME students

The Industry Interaction Club of Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar organized an Industrial visit to Busch Vacuum Solution, Gurugram for final year students of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.  27 students and two faculty members visited the company. Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the students for this industrial visit and underlined that industrial exposure is very much needed for students of engineering courses and industrial visits prove instrumental for that. Registrar Prof. Avnesh Verma appreciated the efforts of T&P Cell for organizing such programs for the overall betterment of students.

Director (Placement) Partap Singh mentioned that industrial visit was organized to Busch Vacuum India Private Limited, Gurugram, which has been working in Machinery & Equipments manufacturing business for the last 16 years. He further stated that this company has also conducted a placement drive for our students in this session. In the company, Students were firstly addressed by Senior Manager (HR & Admin)  Deepti Mittal, telling them about the company through video and presentation. The students came to know how Busch Vacuum Solution was originally established in Germany by Mr. Ayhan Busch and Dr. Karl Busch in 1963 in the Black Forest and how the international expansion of Busch began with the first sales company in Great Britain in 1971. The students were also briefed about various departments and work-flow of the industry followed by physical visit to various departments such as Supply Chain Department, Service Department, System Department, Assembly hub, quality lab etc. The students asked queries regarding the production process, environmental aspects and various ways of recruitment in the company.

Director (Placement)) expressed thanks to Deepti Mittal, Anil Kumar, Ankit Chauhan, Sukhanto Mukherjee, Shashikant Rajan & Lalita Kanwar from the company for hosting this industrial visit. He also thanked DSW Prof. Manaj Dayal, chairpersons of both departments Dr. Punit Katyal and Dr. PReeti Prabhakar and accompanying teachers for making the visit successful.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir singh mentioned that the visit was coordinated by Department Placement Coordinator, Pritam Kumar from B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
