Twelvth Volume of T&P Cell Quarterly Newsletter Released by Vice Chancellor

The 12th volume of the Quarterly Newsletter of T&P Cell of GJUS&T (Hisar) namely TPC-CHRONICLE was released by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi. The Vice Chancellor congratulated the members of the editorial board of the newsletter for regularly publishing this newsletter from the last three years. He said that the newsletter is an effective medium of getting connected with our present as well as potential recruiters, through which they become aware about the activities of university. He further stated that various career development activities are conducted by university Training & Placement Cell through its multiple clubs like Speakathon Club, Aptitude Club, SSB Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Industry Interaction Club & UDBHAVANA Club and newsletter is best platform to record and host all such programs. Director of Placement Cell Mr. Partap Singh said that the quarterly newsletter is published by T&P Cell to compile all the placement achievements along with activities, training programs and initiatives taken by Training & Placement Cell for making the students employable and industry ready in that quarter.  He shared that alumni messages are also included in this newsletter. In this quarter 62 students got placed in 14 organizations, taking the total placement tally to 317 in 74 companies.

He further said that in every edition of the newsletter, one interview of an industry expert is also published, through which students come to know about various requirements and qualities sought by industry.  This time, an interview of  Senior Manager, HR & Admin of Busch Vacuum India Pvt Ltd , Ms. Deepti Mittal has been published. He further informed that softcopy of this newsletter is sent to more than 500 industry people in addition to all faculty members and students.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir Singh said that the newsletter is designed and prepared by a student editorial team consisting of  Dhruv, Yashi, Rakesh, Ayush, Nidhi, Chaitanya, Jai Kumar & Tanuj Kumar led by Team Coordinator Neha Khanna of B.Tech ECE 4th Year with the support of OPCs Simran & Yogender.
