Induction Program held for newly appointed Training & Placement Cell Coordinators for session 2023-2024

Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar conducted an induction program of newly appointed department coordinators and club coordinators. Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi and Registrar Prof. Avnesh Verma congratulated all the newly selected coordinators of various clubs working under T&P cell for multi-faceted employability enhancement of the students. In his message, Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram highlighted that club culture in any institution is instrumental in giving the students a big exposure of learning real life skills by experience. While presiding over the induction function, Director(Placement) Partap Singh mentioned that /.. clubs are being run by the students themselves for overall grooming, employability & career guidance of  all students, under the mentorship of the cell. He further stated that the clubs like Entrepreneurship Club, SSB Club, Competitive Exams Club, International Studies Club help the students to know about various career opportunities and preparation path for these specific career options. The clubs like Coding Club, Aptitude Club, Speakathon Club, Udbhavana Club & Industry Interaction Club help the students to hone their aptitude, coding and soft skills. Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir Singh mentioned that coordinators of all clubs and department level coordinators have been selected based upon the interview process.

Soft Skill Trainer & Motivational Speaker Dr. Sonia trained the newly appointed student coordinators about various leadership skills. She interacted with the coordinators on multiple topics including leadership qualities, planning, event management, time management, anchoring, conflict resolution, Self & Team motivation, Stress Management, holistic well-being and many more in two sessions.The Participants gained insights and strategies to manage challenges and lead balanced lives.

The previous year coordinators of various clubs and departments were also felicitated by giving certificates in this program, acknowledging their immense contribution in conduction of various T&P Cell activities. The event was anchored by Riya of M.Sc. Economics and was coordinated by the team led by Overall Placement Coordinators Yogender Sharma of B.Tech IT 4th Year, Deepak Sangwan of B.Tech IT 3rd Year & Muskan of M.Com 2nd Year.
