 Seminar on "Coding as Career" by Coders Club in association with Kodu


The coding Club GJUST-CODERS under the mentorship of Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar in collaboration with Kodu conducted a seminar on the topic "Choosing Coding as a Career". Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the GJUST Coders club for holding this seminar for technical upskilling of the students.  Registrar Prof. Vinod Chhokar appealed to all students to make full use of all such programs to enhance their employability. Director (Placement) Pratap Singh presided over the seminar. Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir singh coordinated the event. Approx 75 coding aspirant students participated in the seminar.

The experienced IT professionals from Kodu Mr. Dipanshu, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Mr. Ajay, Ms. Surbhi  and Mr. Shubham were the speakers who talked about various emerging trends in Coding and possible future opportunities in industry. Mr Ajay elaborated the trends in the Industry headed by web and mobile app Development and focusing the pros of App Dev over Web development, talking about the languages like React JS, MongoDB. Adding to it Ms. Ms. Surbhi underlined the application of coding in the domain of Health & Finance. She also shared her thoughts on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and suggested students to work on building of logic.  CTO of Kodu, Mr. Deepanshu emphasized on solving real world problems with the help of coding and projected real time working of artificial intelligence , its impact on our future. The program ended with Question Answer Session.

Vanshika Sehgal, Club coordinator presented a Vote of thanks and apprised all about activities of the club. The event was successfully organized by volunteers Tanuj, Yashank, Debjit & Aditya led by joint coordinator Mukul. Club Joint Coordinator Suniti anchored the event.
