Seminar on GATE Preparation by Competitive Exams Club of T&P Cell

The Competitive Exams Club under the Training & Placement cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science &Technology, Hisar organized a seminar on the topic “Gateway To GATE Preparation” in Seminar Hall of Ch. Ranbir Singh Auditorium for students aspiring to appear in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering  (GATE) - 2024 exams. Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the Competitive Exams Club for organizing this seminar to motivate and guide students for qualifying the GATE-2024 exams, which opens a number of career options for the students. Registrar Prof. Vinod Chhokar appealed to all students to make full use of all such programs to enhance their employability. Dean (FET) Prof. Sandeep Arya was the chief guest of the seminar. Director (Placement) Pratap Singh presided over the seminar.  Dr. Preyansh Vardhan Jain, Director of The GATE Coach was the keynote speaker along with Dr. Roma. Approx 128 students participated in the seminar.

While addressing the students, Dr. Preyansh Vardhan Jain highlighted various job sectors through the GATE exam. He described the GATE examination pattern, Proven study techniques and effective time management strategies tailored for GATE aspirants, Subject-specific preparation tips and recommended study resources,  Efficient approaches to solving previous years' question papers and mock tests and Expert guidance on selecting appropriate study materials and reference books. The co-speaker Dr. Roma underlined the essence of hard work as well as smart work. She also shared the RRR Rule for memorization i.e, Register, Retain and Recall.

While speaking to the students, Chief Guest Prof. Sandeep Arya gave insights of education and the need of time management in life.He appealed all the participants to remain focussed over their career goal and dedicate themselves fully for the attainment of that goal.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir Singh coordinated the event. Vote of thanks was proposed by Hardik, Joint coordinator of Competitive exam club. The whole seminar was anchored by Nisha. Deepanshi and Hardik managed the whole seminar smoothly along with the whole club team including mentor Piyush, joint coordinator Neha and core team members Abhishek, Tanishk and Sonali.
