 Thirteen Students selected in Campus Placement Drive of Oji India Packaging Pvt. Ltd.

Thirteen students of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science &Technology, Hisar have been selected in the On-Campus Placement Drive of “Oji India Packaging Pvt. Ltd.” organized by the Training & Placement Cell of university in collaboration with Printing, EEE & ME Departments. While congratulating all the selected students, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi appealed to the selected students to carry the name of university in the corporate sector with utmost sincerity and motivate their classmates to prepare hard and get good placements.  Registrar Prof. Vinod Chokkar also wished selected students good luck. Chairperson of Printing Technology Department Dr. Pankaj Kumar,Chairperson of EEE Department Dr. Suman Dahiya & Training Placement Coordinator Mr. Bijender Kaushik were also present at this occasion.

Director (Placement) Partap Singh told that the placement process began with pre-placement talk in T&P Cell Seminar Hall, in which company HR Jitendra Kumar briefed the students about the company, its products, job role & growth options etc. The other company officials GM & University Alumni of first batch Mr. Navin Dalal, Operation Head Prakhar Prakash Verma and  HR executive Rajneesh Chaudhary also briefed the students.It was followed by written test, Technical and HR interview. Around 56 students from Printing, ME & EEE Department participated in the drive.  Director (Placement) thanked Chairperson of Printing Technology Department Dr. Pankaj Kumar,Chairperson of ME Department  Dr. Puneet Katyal and Chairperson of EEE Department Dr. Suman Dahiya & Training Placement Coordinator Mr. Bijender Kaushik for guiding and motivating the students.

Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Chairperson (Printing Department) shared that Oji India Packaging Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of Oji Holdings Corporation, Japan and was established in India with the aim of providing complete Corrugated Packaging Solution for all sectors and to showcase the possibility of using corrugated board with innovative ideas. shared that Oji Group has either one or both business and forestry operations around the world.

Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director told that the Selected Students are Diya jangra, Mohit, Sahil Verma, Manan Ahuja, Atul kumar, Aman, Sundram from B.Tech (PTG) , Louie Fererr, Anjali Yadav, Lakshya Mishra B.Tech (PKG), Ashwani kumar, Atul Anand from B.Tech (ME) & Ankit from B.Tech (EE) 2024 passing out batch and Sanju Verma of B.Tech(EE) 2023 passing out batch. The placement drive was coordinated by Mohit from B.Tech PTG. The selected students will join as GET at three locations Neemrana, Sanand (Gujarat) and Sricity (Hyderabad) in Jan 2024.
