Webinar on "Gateway to the Armed Forces" held by SSB Club of T&P Cell.

 

 A seminar on “Gateway to the Armed Forces” was Held by SSB CLUB of Training and Placement Cell 

GJUS&T Hisar. During this event, around 80 students from the university attended the seminar. Director of Training and Placement Cell Sh. Pratap Malik gave the welcome address the students and asked them to fill all defence entries and exam form and keep actively part in the future activities of Club. SSB Club team explained the students 5 day SSB process along with defence entries by clearing which they can appear for SSB.

Then Lalit started the presentation with introduction of some famous officers of Indian Armed Forces like Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw, Major Mohit Sharma, Flight Lieutenant Awni Chaturvedi and many more. Then he explained that first step is to prepare and appear for defence exam and after clearing which one can become eligible for SSB. Pankaj ,team member explained Stage 1 of SSB which include OIR and PPDT . He told students that OIR includes basic reasoning questions and PPDT includes observing a very hazy picture and writing story around it followed by Group Discussion. Then Shubika explained Psychologytests that is part of Stage 2. which includes TATs,WATs,SRTs and Confirmatory test of psychology SDT . Practicing and being real is best way to prepare for Psychology test. Then Lalit introduced GTO and personal interview to the students and explained students about various ground tasks and individual tasks of GTO and Tamanna told students about Group

Discussion and Lecturette . She told students to give their points and argue since it discussion not debate. Lalit later explained 5 CIQs of personal interview and other. Ritika introduced students with all defence entries like NDA,CDS,Afcat,TES etc . Jyoti and Lalit presented vote of thanks and made great efforts to organize and conduct this seminar.
