E- Internship Drive Haryana Space Applications (HARSAC)

Three student of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar have been selected in the E-Campus Internship Drive of “Haryana Space Application (HARSAC)” organized by the Training & Placement Cell of the University. Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice- Chancellor and Prof. Vinod Chhokar, Registrar of the University congratulated the selected students. Pratap Singh, Director Placement said that Haryana Space Applications Centre (HARSAC), a Nodal Agency of the Citizen Resources Information Department, Government of Haryana for Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, has been established in the year 1986 and became operational in the year 1989. Since then it has completed 215 projects successfully and 32 projects are ongoing (as on November 2019) in the field of mapping, monitoring and management of natural resources, environment and infrastructure in the State and also generated GIS database for the developmental planning purpose, and also undertake, promote, guide, coordinate and aid Research and Development in the field of RS and GIS applications. After an offline pre-placement talk followed by the interview, Three students got selected.  Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director told that the Selected Students are Jatin, Aman & Akash Aneja B.Tech (CSE)-2023 passing out.
