Thirteenth Volume of Quarterly Newsletter of T&P Cell (TPC Chronicle) released

The 13th volume of  the Newsletter of Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar namely TPC-CHRONICLE was released by the Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice-Chancellor in a small function organized in committee room of Vice-Chancellor’s Office on the eve of beginning of new year 2024.  Prof. Vinod Chhokar, Registrar, Prof. Devender Kumar, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Sanjeev Kumar, Dean of Colleges and Prof. Dalbir Singh were also present on the occasion.

          Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice-Chancellor congratulated all the members of the editorial board of the newsletter for regularly publishing this newsletter from the last three years. He said that the newsletter is an effective medium of getting connected with our present as well as potential recruiters, through which they become aware about the activities of university.

          Prof. Vinod Chhokar, Registrar stated that various career development activities are conducted by University Training & Placement Cell through its multiple clubs like Speakathon Club, Aptitude Club, SSB Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Industry Interaction Club & UDBHAVANA Club and newsletter is best platform to record and publicise all such programmes.

          Dr. Partap Singh, Director, Training & Placement Cell shared that in addition to recording grooming initiatives, the newsletter also records information about students placed in  various placement drives. He further stated that 331 students of 2023 passing out batch have got placements through direct campus placement drives of 78 companies and similarly for current batch of 2024 passing out, 60 students have got placements in 16 companies till now. He further said that in every edition of the newsletter, one interview of an industry HR is also published, through which students come to know about various requirements and qualities sought by industry.  This time, an interview of Jitendra Kumar, Manager HR & Admin of the very reputed printing company Oji India Packaging Private Limited has been published.

          Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director informed that softcopy of this newsletter is sent to more than 1000 industry people in addition to all faculty members and students. He further shared that the newsletter is designed and prepared by a student editorial team consisting of Dhruv, Yashi, Chaitanya, Tanuj Kumar, Ayush, Mohit, Ishita, Arean, Muskan, Ishita, Tanuj, Aman, Preet, Salman with the support of OPCs Yogender, Deepak and Muskan.
