 Valedictory Function of 4-Days Soft Skill Training Workshop held for Pre-Final year Students by T&P Cell


The 4-Days Soft Skill Training Cum Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) Program, organized by Udbhavana Club of Training & Pl;acement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar university of Science & Technology, in collaboration with Rubicon Skill Development Pvt Ltd under Barclay CSR Initiative, for Pre-Final Year students of all courses, got concluded. The programme ended with a valedictory function organized in the Seminar Hall of Training and Placement Cell  of the University graced with the benign presence of  Professor in Applied Psychology Department and Advisor to Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sandeep Rana  as chief guest.  Director(Placement) Dr. Pratap Singh presided over the function. Approx 100 student coordinators & volunteers were present in the function. Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishonoi congratulated all the batch coordinators and volunteers to organize such a big training program, benefitting more than 900 students, successfully. Registrar Prof. Vinod Chokkar also congratulated the Udbhavana Club of T&P Cell for continuously organizing such skilling programs for students.
           
In his address as chief guest, Prof. Sandeep Rana shared that students should work on Gaining Knowledge, Acquiring the skill of expressing that knowledge and having positive attitude for self as well as others, are three success mantras for students, not only in their professional life but personal life as well. He further shared that students should work on the modules taught to them in the 4-days Skill ENhancement Program. He also appealed to students to think big and think around finding solutions to problems surrounding us.
           
While addressing to students, Dr. Partap Singh, Director Placement shared that 914 students got Soft Skill Training from the 13 professional trainers of Rubicon Skill Development Pvt limited in 13 batches on topics like Public Speaking, Presentation Skills, E-mail & Telephone Etiquette, Grooming, Group Discussion, Physical and Virtual Interviews, LinkedIn profiling for better exposure, Job Searching Strategies, Rejection Handling & Resilience etc, through creative activities, student-involvement & games. He shared that these classes were held in State of the art classrooms of HSB, seminar Halls of Ch. Ranbir Singh Auditorium and Food Technology.

He expressed thanks to Pooja Sonje, Toshika and all trainers from Rubicon Skill Development Private Limited along with all chairpersons and department Placement Coordinator teachers for motivating the students to participate in this mandatory training programme. He specially thanked HSB Director Prof. Vinod Kumar Bishmoi and Chairperson Food Technology Department prof. Manish Kumar for logistics support.

While sharing their experiences, students shared that they were quite hesitant in speaking in front of other students in the beginning, but after completion of training, their confidence as well as power of communication has increased many folds.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir shared that All batch coordinators, Joint Coordinators, Batch Volunteers and Centralized Team Members were given certificates of appreciation for their volunteership to make this 4-days workshop successful. He said that program was coordinated by Program Coordinators Anshita Singhal, Sanjeev Jangra & Priyanka , with the cooperation of Batch Coordinators, Dhruv, Prince, Nidhi Mishra, Anshul, Bibhuti Kumar Jha, Nistha, Anshul, Ravinder, Ananta Dhamija, Sakshi, Radhika, Monika, Ankit, Prafulla and Centralized Volunteers like Sahil, Chander Mohan, Kirti.  The programme started with Kulgeet and ended with the National Anthem.
