Seminar organized by Training & Placement Cell on "Generative AI" & "LinkedIn" for students through CSRBOX

 The Udbhavana Club under Training and Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology , Hisar in collaboration with  gujarat based CSRBOX  organized seminars on topics "Generative AI" & "LinkedIn for Professional excellence" in two sessions in seminar hall-1 of Ch. Ranbir SIngh Auditorium. Ms. Uzma Urooj, Associate Manager of IBM SkillsBuild Project of CSRBOX was the keynote speaker. Director(Placement) Dr. Partap Singh presided over the function. More than 400 students participated in these two seminars. Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the cell for collaborating with CSRBOX for making skill-related certificate courses available to students of our university.He also emphasized the importance of making students aware about important technology like generative AI and important professional platform LinkedIn, so that students may upskill themselves and get more and more career opportunities. Registrar Prof. Vinod Chokkar appealed to all students to make maximum  use of the IBM SkillsBuild platform.

Director (Placement) Dr. Partap Singh shared that CSRBOX being the CSR partner of IBM, has provided access to more than 8000 free technical, professional and job-preparedness related certificate courses through IBM learning platform, namely “IBM SkillsBuild Program” to students of our university, free of cost. He further shared that it will help our students to upskill themselves as per the industry requirements.Keynote speaker Ms. Uzma made the students aware about the process of registering and making use of the IBM SkillsBuild platform.  Talking on topic "Generative AI" in first session, she discussed various aspects of generative AI like information about AI tools such as Chatgpt, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Writing Prompts, Using ChatgGPT for generating Text, image, Audio & Video , Writing mails, Analysing excel sheets etc. She also discussed the dangers of AI including Job Displacement, privacy invasion, security risks & ethical concerns etc. Talking on the topic "LinkedIn for professional excellence" in the second session, she highlighted the importance of the LinkedIn platform and guided the students to create an effective profile in LinkedIn. She also discussed the strategic approach of increasing connections, enhancing visibility , doing Job searching and skill enhancement through LinkediN Platform.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir Singh shared that Joint Overall Placement Coordinators Bhumika & Sanjeev expressed vote of thanks in two sessions. The program was coordinated by program Coordinators Deepanshu Yadav & Lavish Aggarwal. The sessions were anchored by Lavish & Mallika. The students Anish , durbhya , Sanjay, Naina, ritu,sahil & yashav worked as volunteers to coordinate the program successfully.
