E- Campus Placement Drive of ISGEC


Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, recently hosted a successful E-Campus Placement Drive organized by ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd., one of India's leading engineering companies. The drive, facilitated by the University's Training & Placement Cell, saw active participation from 25 students of the Department of Printing Technology. Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Vinod Chhokar, Registrar of the University, commended the initiative and extended their congratulations to the participating students.


While congratulating selected student, Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi stated that the university remains dedicated to enhancing the employability of its students by offering them opportunities to engage with leading industry players. Various initiatives, including skill development programs, internships, and industry collaborations, continue to strengthen the university’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, ensuring that students are well-equipped for their professional careers.

Director(Placement) Dr. Partap Singh shared that ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd., a renowned company established in 1933, operates across diverse sectors such as power, sugar, process equipment, and environmental engineering. The company’s ongoing collaboration with Guru Jambheshwar University for campus placements over the last three consecutive years highlights the mutual trust and the strong industry-academic partnership. The placement process included a pre-placement talk, followed by an offline aptitude test, technical interviews, and HR interviews, providing students with an excellent opportunity to engage with a prestigious company.

Dr. Pratap Singh, Director of Placement, expressed his appreciation for ISGEC's continued involvement in the recruitment process and for providing students with valuable opportunities to showcase their skills. He also thanked Mr. D.N. Mishra from ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd. for conducting the placement drive for GJUS&T students, along with Chairperson of ME department. Prof. Puneet Katyal.

Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director, informed that student Aman of B.Tech (ME) has been selected and will join the company in Jan-2025 on CTC of 4.4 LPA. The drive was coordinate by Yash Jangra.
