E- Campus Placement Drive of Cognizant Information Technology

 GJUS&T Continues Its IT Placement Success with Cognizant, a Leading Global IT Company

Following the remarkable success of the recent Infosys placement drive, the Training & Placement Cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, has once again demonstrated its commitment to student employability by successfully organizing a campus placement drive with Cognizant, one of the top IT companies globally. The drive witnessed an overwhelming response from students, with 110 students appearing for the selection process. After multiple rigorous rounds, 11 students from B.Tech CSE, IT, ECE, EE & MCA courses of GJUS&T, Hisar, were finally declared as selected.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the selected students and commended the university’s continuous efforts in facilitating career opportunities for its students through strong corporate collaborations. He emphasized that GJUS&T remains committed to providing industry-aligned education and enhancing students' employability skills to bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world. Registrar Dr. Vijay Kumar also congratulated the selected candidates and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence in their professional journeys.

Director (Placement) Dr. Partap Singh expressed his gratitude to Cognizant for offering placement opportunities to GJUS&T students and acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the participating students. He highlighted that the placement drive witnessed participation of 101 students of B.Tech CSE, IT, ECE, AIML, out of which 11 students have finally been selected after Aptitude Test, Technical Round  & final interview held in Panjab University Chandigarh.

Dr. Partap Singh further shared that Cognizant is one of the world's leading professional services companies. It is ranked 194 on the Fortune 500 and holds the 63rd position in the Forbes Top 100 Digital Companies of 2019.

He thanked the company HR Team led by Ms. Garima Behl, Ms. Morvi Dhavan & Aswathy for conducting the drive successfully. He also expressed his gratitude to chairpersons and training placement coordinators for participating departments for guiding and motivating the students.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir Singh shared that Chhavi Dhiman of B.Tech CSE has been selected for GenC Next profile at CTC 6.75 LPA. The other selected students including Abhay Kumar, Rajan Kushwaha, Aman Soni, Mukul,  Aayush, Nitish from B.Tech (CSE), Nikhil from B.Tech (IT),  Vanshika Sehgal, , Vanshika Sharma &  Kashish from B.Tech CSE-AIML have been selected for GenC profile at CTC of  4LPA.
