 GJUS&T Unveils ‘Career Versa 2025’ – A Mega Job Fair cum Summer Internship Fair on 18-19 April 2025

Hisar, April 2025: Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, officially launched the poster and folder for ‘Career Versa 2025’, a Mega Job Fair cum Summer Internship Fair scheduled on 18-19 April 2025, during a meeting of Chairpersons presided over by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi. The event aims to provide a robust employment and internship platform for students from the university, affiliated colleges, and other institutions across the region.

While unveiling the poster, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi reaffirmed the university’s commitment to enhancing students’ employability. He encouraged students from GJUS&T and affiliated institutions to actively participate in this golden opportunity to engage with top recruiters. Citing Hisar’s rapid industrial and infrastructural growth, including the airport and expanding business ecosystem, he urged industries from Hisar and the NCR region to be part of this initiative, fostering regional economic growth and skill development. Registrar Dr. Vijay Kumar shared that various committees for smooth execution of the job fair have also been constituted.

Director (Placement) Dr. Partap Singh shared that the first day of Career Versa 2025 will focus on companies seeking professional candidates from B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, BPT, MPT, and M.Sc. programs, while the second day will be open to companies hiring for diverse roles, including candidates from BA, B.Com, B.Sc., MA, and other disciplines. The job fair will be conducted in both physical and virtual modes, with over 2,000 students expected to participate. To ensure thorough preparation, the T&P Cell will organize CV & Interview Preparation Workshops on April 15-17, 2025, at the Seminar Halls of Ch. Ranbir Singh Auditorium.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir Singh shared that more than 50 recruiters from diverse sectors—including IT & Software, Core Engineering, Pharma & Healthcare, FMCG, Banking & Finance, Consulting, Digital Marketing, Logistics, and Academia—will participate. Key recruiters include Jindal Stainless Limited, Genpact, VVDN, LIC, Tech Mahindra, Star Health, and many more. He also shared that a new portal www.iconnectgjust.in/tpcell_careerverse has also been launched for the registration of recruiters as well as jobseeker students, willing to participate in job fair.

Other important persons present in the meeting included Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Yogesh Chaba, Dean of Colleges Prof. Sanjeev Kumar, Controller of Examinations Prof. Yashpaul Singla, along with Deans & Chairpersons.
