Meeting of Training and Placement Coordinators of Affiliated Colleges Held at GJUS&T about Job Fair - Career Verse 2025


 Hisar, April 7, 2025: A meeting of Training and Placement Coordinators from affiliated colleges of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, was successfully organized today under the chairmanship of Prof. Sanjeev Aseem, Dean of Colleges, and convenership of Dr. Partap Singh, Director (Training and Placement), GJUS&T. The meeting witnessed the active participation of 25 Training and Placement Coordinators from 15 affiliated colleges.

The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss and ensure the enthusiastic participation of affiliated colleges in the upcoming Career Verse 2025 – a Mega Job Fair and Summer Internship Fair scheduled to be held on 18–19 April 2025 at the GJUS&T campus. Dr. Partap Singh provided a detailed overview of the event, highlighting the participation of reputed companies, the registration process, and the wide-ranging benefits for final-year students. He encouraged all colleges to share the job fair details widely and ensure timely student registrations.  All coordinators unanimously resolved to promote the event within their respective institutions and extend full support in mobilizing students for the job fair.

Prof. Sanjeev Aseem, in his address as the Chief Guest, reiterated the university’s strong commitment to the academic and professional growth of students from affiliated colleges. He emphasized the importance of industry exposure and inter-institutional collaboration for enhancing student employability.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor, GJUS&TProf.  Narsi Ram Bishnoi conveyed his best wishes for the success of Career Verse 2025. He expressed hope that the affiliated colleges would participate in large numbers, ensuring that their students benefit fully from the opportunities being made available through this university-level initiative.

The meeting also included constructive discussions on strengthening day-to-day collaborative efforts between the university and affiliated colleges for improving placement and internship opportunities. Suggestions such as centralized placement support, joint training initiatives, expert talks, alumni engagement, and regular communication were shared and welcomed.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to work in close coordination for the betterment of all students and to make Career Verse 2025 a grand success.
