On- Campus Placement Drive of Bharat Electronics Limited

 Six GJUS&T Students Secure Prestigious Placements at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Leading PSU in the Defense & Aerospace Sector

Hisar, February 2025: Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, has once again demonstrated its excellence in industry-academia collaboration by successfully conducting a prestigious Campus Placement Drive with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Chandigarh Branch—a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The placement drive resulted in the selection of six talented students from the university, securing the esteemed post of Deputy Engineer (Fixed Term) with a lucrative CTC of ₹11.5 LPA.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the selected students and expressed immense pride in GJUS&T’s ability to prepare its students for elite job opportunities in renowned organizations. He highlighted that BEL, being one of India’s premier defense electronics companies, offers a remarkable platform for young engineers to contribute to critical national projects and cutting-edge technological advancements. Prof. Bishnoi further emphasized that the university remains committed to enhancing industry partnerships and providing career-defining opportunities to its students.

Registrar Dr. Vijay Kumar also congratulated the selected students and said that the university remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering more high-value collaborations in the future, ensuring that its students continue to receive outstanding career opportunities in esteemed organizations like BEL.

During the placement event, Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi also felicitated the visiting officials from BEL Chandigarh, recognizing their valuable contribution to the recruitment process and their efforts in strengthening the university-industry connect. The honored officials included Smt. Deepa Bajpai, General Manager; Sh. Rajeev Ailawadi, AGM; Ms. Abha Shrivastva Mathur, Sr. DGM; Sh. Saikat Banerjee, DGM; Sh. Rajeev Kumar, Manager; Ms. Vishruti Nandel, Dy. Manager; and Sh. Prashant, Officer.

Director (Placement) Dr. Partap Singh extended his gratitude to the BEL Chandigarh officials for conducting the recruitment drive and recognizing the potential of GJUS&T students. He highlighted the rigorous selection process, which included a pre-placement talk, technical assessments, and personal interviews, ultimately leading to the selection of six outstanding students. He also thanked Dean(FET Prof. Sandeep Arya, chairpersons and Training Placement Coordinators of EEE & ME departments.

Assistant Director Dr. Aditya Vir Singh shared that the selected candidates include Narender and Sujal Pruthi from B.Tech (ME), along with Beauty Maurya, Sudhanshu Shekhar, and Lalit Kumar from B.Tech (ECE). These students will join BEL Chandigarh office at CTC of 11.5 LPA. The placement drive was meticulously coordinated by Lalit.
