On- Campus Placement Drive of HCL Tech
Four students of the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) program at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, have been selected by the renowned Noida-based IT company HCL Technologies through a Virtual On-Campus Placement Drive organized by the University’s Training & Placement Cell.
Congratulating the selected students, Vice Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi expressed pride and stated that GJUS&T, with its modern curriculum and robust infrastructure, is committed to producing a skilled and industry-ready workforce. He emphasized that the consistent placements in prestigious companies such as Infosys, Cognizant, and now HCL Technologies, are a testament to the university’s growing reputation in the academic and corporate world. Registrar Dr. Vijay Kumar also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the successful candidates.
During the virtual Pre-Placement Talk, Ms. Pratibha Rawat, HR Manager at HCL Technologies, provided an overview of the organization, highlighting that HCL is a next-generation global technology company that empowers enterprises to thrive in the digital age. With over four decades of innovation, a strong culture of risk-taking, and customer focus, HCL operates across 50 countries with a workforce of more than 168,000 professionals, serving top global enterprises including 250 of the Fortune 500.
Dr. Partap Singh, Director (Placement), informed that a total of 24 students from B.Tech CSE-AIML participated in the virtual recruitment process, which included an online test, pre-placement talk, and virtual HR interviews. He thanked Ms. Pratibha Rawat and the HCL Tech team for conducting the drive and appreciated the support of Prof. Om Parkash Sangwan, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, and Dr. Pawan Kumar, Training & Placement Coordinator, for guiding and motivating the students throughout the preparation.
Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director, shared the names of the selected students: Garvit Khanna, Aditya Walia, Rishabh Thakran, and Rashi Jain from B.Tech (CSE-AIML). The placement drive was smoothly coordinated by Mamta, a student of the same program.
