101 GJUS&T Students Secure Prestigious Placements at Infosys

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (GJUST), has achieved a historic milestone in campus placements, with 101 students securing jobs at Infosys, marking the largest-ever selection in a single drive in the University’s history. The State-Level Diversity Pool Campus Drive, organized by the Training & Placement Cell, saw 366 students from 25 government universities and affiliated colleges participating, with 34 female candidates among the selected students. Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice-Chancellor in his congratulatory message, emphasized that this achievement reaffirms GJUST’s commitment to providing world-class employment opportunities through industry collaborations and skill development programmes. Dr. Vijay Kumar, Registrar and Dr. Partap Singh, Director Placement also applauded the success, acknowledging the dedication of students, faculty and volunteers in making this drive a grand success.

            The two-day selection process included a Pre-Placement Talk and Online Aptitude Test on Day 1, followed by Technical and HR Interviews on Day 2. The recruitment drive, conducted by Infosys officials Ms. Shaan Vats (Senior Practice Lead) and Mr. Harshdeep Batra (Associate Lead), tested candidates on Mathematical Ability, Reasoning, Verbal Skills, Pseudo Code, Puzzle Solving, and English Writing. The selected 101 students include 38 from B.Tech. CSE, 21 from B.Tech. IT, 24 from B.Tech. CSE-AIML, 3 from MCA, 2 from M.Tech. CSE, 3 from B.Tech. ECE, 2 from B.Tech. EE, 1 from M.Sc.. CS-AI-DS, 5 from M.Sc. Mathematics and 2 from M.Sc. Physics. Additionally, 11 students from other institutions including BPSMV, CUH, JMIT, YMCA, DCRUST, TITS, and CDLSIET also secured placements.
