2-Days Soft Skill Training Program "PRAGYAN" for freshers held by Udbhavana Club
To recognize the efforts of the student trainers and coordinators, a Felicitation Ceremony was held on 15th September 2025 in Seminar Hall-1 of the University Auditorium. The event was graced by Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice Chancellor, as the Chief Guest; Mr. Hitesh Yadav, DGM L&D, Jindal Stainless Steel Hisar, as the Guest of Honour; and Ms. Kiran from the Anudip Foundation as the Special Guest. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Partap Singh, Director (Placement).
The program began with the University Kulgeet, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Partap Singh. A documentary on ‘Pragyan’ and a detailed program report were presented by the coordinators. Selected batch coordinators and trainers also shared their experiences, highlighting how the program benefited both trainees and trainers in developing essential soft skills and leadership qualities.
Addressing the gathering, Special Guest Ms. Kiran appreciated the innovative model of peer-to-peer training and expressed her delight at the enthusiasm of the students. Guest of Honour Mr. Hitesh Yadav emphasized the growing importance of communication and interpersonal skills in corporate success. He said that in today’s competitive world, it is not only technical knowledge but also the ability to present ideas, lead teams, and adapt to dynamic challenges that makes professionals stand out. He further added that initiatives like Pragyan give students a real edge and prepare them to confidently step into industry.
Chief Guest Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, lauded the initiative of the Training & Placement Cell and motivated the students to continue enhancing their life skills along with academic learning. He highlighted that soft skills are as important as hard skills, and those who master both excel in every sphere of life. He further stated that Pragyan-2025 has created a culture of peer learning in the University, and such programs contribute to holistic personality development, making students future-ready professionals.
During the ceremony, the Guest of Honour and Special Guest were felicitated by the Vice Chancellor. This was followed by the felicitation of more than 150 student trainers, acknowledged in groups. Group photographs of the central team, mentoring team, and program coordinators were also taken on the occasion.
Program coordination was led by Program Coordinator Devyani, Joint Coordinators Dipanshu and Yashu, and supported by the mentoring team comprising Shubham, Khushboo, Muskan, and Digvijay. A total of 130 batch coordinators coordinated various sessions, while nearly 200 volunteers worked tirelessly for the smooth execution and success of this mega event.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director (T&P), and the National Anthem.
