Fresh Induction of Student Coordinators for 10 Clubs and Committees for session 2025-2026 under Training & Placement Cell, GJUS&T

 The Training & Placement Cell of GJUS&T organized a Felicitation-cum-Commitment Ceremony, which saw the participation of over 130 students, including the outgoing coordinators of session 2024–25 and the newly inducted coordinators for session 2025–26. The event marked the formal induction of coordinators for 10 clubs and committees constituted under the T&P Cell to enhance employability and industry engagement.

The ceremony was graced by Professor Sandeep Rana, Technical Advisor (HRM) to the Vice-Chancellor, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Pankaj Asija, Director, PSEL Hisar, as the Guest of Honour. The function was presided over by Dr. Pratap Singh, Director (Placement).

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the Training & Placement Cell for its commendable initiatives in channelizing the potential of students through clubs and committees that play a pivotal role in nurturing skills, enhancing employability, and preparing students for future career opportunities.

In his address, Professor Rana stressed the importance of being goal-oriented and self-driven, highlighting that active participation in such clubs contributes to holistic personality development. He urged the new coordinators to remain committed and take these initiatives to greater heights.

Mr. Asija, in his remarks, encouraged students to treat their responsibilities as long-term goals, develop strong communication skills, and foster teamwork. He appealed to coordinators to align their sense of purpose with responsibility and remain consistent in their efforts.

Delivering the Welcome Address, Dr. Pratap Singh applauded the dedication of the outgoing team and motivated the new members to carry forward the legacy of commitment and excellence. He also announced the induction of new coordinators, joint coordinators, and core team members of the following 10 clubs and committees:

• Aptitude Club – Sharpening students’ aptitude skills

• Speakathon Club – Enhancing communication skills

• Coding Club – Strengthening coding proficiency

• Udbhavana Club – Facilitating technical upgradation

• Industry Interaction Club – Expanding industry exposure

• Competitive Exams Club – Guiding students for jobs and higher studies

• Alumni Club – Connecting alumni for placements and internships

• Company Connect Committee – Building links with companies for recruitment

• Drive Coordination Committee – Managing placement and internship drives

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Aditya Veer Singh, Assistant Director, T&P Cell. The program was anchored by Devyani, Joint Overall Placement Coordinator, and coordinated by Harsh Yadav, Overall Placement Coordinator, assisted by Joint Coordinators Shruti, Mohit, and Devyani, along with a dedicated team of student volunteers.

Certificates of Excellence were presented to the outgoing team members in recognition of their significant contributions and outstanding performance during their tenure.
