Off-Campus Placement Drive International Centre for Automotive Tech.
Nine students from the B.Tech. (CSE/IT/ECE/ME/Electrical) programmes at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, have been successfully placed at the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Manesar, through an Off-Campus Placement Drive facilitated by the University’s Training and Placement Cell.
While congratulating the selected students, Prof. Narsi Ram Bishnoi, Vice-Chancellor expressed pride in their achievement. He highlighted that the University’s industry-aligned curriculum and modern infrastructure significantly contribute to grooming students into job-ready professionals. He further remarked that consistent placements in reputed organizations like ICAT reaffirm GJUS&T’s standing in both academic and corporate domains. Dr. Vijay Kumar, Registrar also commended the students for their dedication and perseverance.
As part of the recruitment process, a pre-placement session was conducted by Arvind Kumar, HR Manager at ICAT, who familiarized the students with the company’s wide-ranging operations. He emphasized the organization’s strong technical expertise and its commitment to delivering comprehensive regulatory solutions to the automotive sector.
Dr. Partap Singh, Director Placement, informed that 65 students from the CSE/IT/ECE/ME/Electrical streams participated in the rigorous multi-stage selection process. He extended his gratitude to Arvind Kumar and his team for their continuous support and also acknowledged the invaluable mentoring efforts of the departmental Chairpersons and Training & Placement Coordinators.
Dr. Aditya Vir Singh, Assistant Director shared that Yashpal Verma, Monu, Manish Kumar, Akash Saini, Mayank, Bhavuk Jain, Sonu, Aayush Barupal, and Himanshu Dagar have been selected.
